3D Analysis of a Calving Event at Perito Moreno Glacier

This video presents a 3D analysis of a calving failure event at the Perito Moreno Glacier on December 21, 2024. The upper section shows pre-failure deformation in meters, based on 3D models reconstructed from images taken at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. The lower section identifies the location of the calving failure, comparing models from images taken at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The analysis was carried out using CloudCompare and the M3C2 algorithm.
